Burger King released a new type of fries called “satisfries.” I’ll give them some credit for this. These fries are 70 calories and 4 grams of fat lower than their regular fries. Small “satisfries” Are 270 calories and 11 grams of fat. A small classic order of fries are 340 calories and 15 grams of fat. Worldwide, Burger King sells 56,000,000 orders of fries per month. Hypothetically speaking for the sake of this article, let’s say for the next month everybody ordered these satifries instead of classic fries. That would be a deficit of 3,920,000,000 calories and 224,000,000 grams of fat. Those are considerable numbers. There is no change with the ingredients, but instead the way they are prepared. Burger King wouldn’t specify about all the details, but did say that the way they’re prepared now that they absorb less oil. Don’t be confused though. While these are healthier than the classic version, they’re not necessarily healthy. They also cost twenty to thirty cents more than the regular classic fries. If you’re trying to lose weight, you’re still going to want to keep Burger King out of your diet.
